‘Ancient
Aliens’ é um documentário televisivo, produzido por
Prometheus Entertainment, que estreou a 10 de abril de 2010 no Canal de História americano.
O documentário propõe que textos antigos históricos, arqueologia e lendas contêm evidências de contacto entre humanos e extraterrestres.
A 1ª temporada lançou 5 episódios. A 2ª temporada lançou 10 episódios mais fascinantes que os primeiros, ainda em 2010.
A 3ª temporada lançou 16 episódios em 2011, os quais exploram 75 milhões de anos de provas
contundentes sobre a vida dos extraterrestres no planeta Terra - desde a
era dos dinossauros ao Antigo Egito, até os céus azuis de hoje do oeste
do Arizona, nos Estados Unidos. Algumas teorias asseguram que os
extraterrestres têm vindo a interagir com os habitantes da Terra no decorrer
dos séculos, e que mudaram o curso da história humana.
